Balkan Tunes

“Balkan Tunes” was composed in 1993 by Airat Karimov and is inspired by traditional melodies from the Balkan region. This intermediate-level piano solo features folk rhythms, modal harmonies, and expressive phrasing. The piece was written especially for his son Dias Karimov and reflects a personal connection to both music and tradition. PDF download included.
